Since its debut in October 1991, the third generation RX-7 (FD3S) is a world famous rotary engine sports car loved by many enthusiasts. Production was discontinued in August 2002 due to the influence of the 2000 exhaust gas regulations. Before the end of production, the final special limited edition “RX-7 Spirit R” was released in April 2002.
