The Hankyu Electric Railway 2300 Series is a new express train model launched on the Hankyu Kyoto Line in 2024. Designed with the concept of “Safety, Comfort, and a New Hankyu Style with Environmental Considerations,” it retains the traditional image of Hankyu trains while featuring a sleek design with curved glass on the front to evoke a “sense of speed.” This series introduces Hankyu Electric Railway’s first reserved seating service and is conceived as a “special train dedicated to personal time,” offering distinctiveness that is characteristic of Hankyu.
