He is always keen to oblige, a fact of which the other engines are apt to take advantage, and just occasionally his respect and admiration for Sir Topham Hatt borders on outright servility.
• Percy is an old-fashioned steam engine painted green with a black boiler section and cab roof and red pinstriping.
• Percy’s smiling grey face on the front of the engine features eyes that move back and forth.
• Percy has a small coal box filled with coal behind his cab.
