The Ghan is a passenger train between Adelaide, Alice Springs, and Darwin on the Adelaide Darwin railway in Australia. Operated by Great Southern Rail, it takes 54 hours to travel the 2,979 kilometers (1,851 mi) with a four-hour stopover in Alice Springs. All vehicles are painted in crisp colours displaying the current ‘THE GHAN’ logos and plaques fitted to the coaches. The coach selection comprises a sleeper car, dining car and first class car. First time modelers will also require a 12V DC controller.

This set includes Atlas Track Packs to make up an oval of track with 2 wired track joiners.
