Yukiseki Miki ()

Born in 1966, Kokura, Kitakyushu City. Started oil painting during junior high school. Upon entering high school, studied under Mr. Kaneru Yamaguchi and switched to calligraphy. After graduating from university, expanded activities into design fields, creating brush script for packaging, sake labels, CD jackets, posters, and more. Currently exploring the role of calligraphy in everyday Western spaces as well as Japanese spaces. Actively working with a theme of clear, modern calligraphy that isn’t constrained by traditional concepts, fostering a free and innovative approach.
