PORTRAM is a vehicle introduced by Toyama Light Rail in 2006 to coincide with the opening of the Toyama Port Line. In 2020, it was taken over by Toyama Regional Railway following the progress of the Toyama Station tram south-north connection project. Since the direct operation start of the Toyama Port Line and Toyama Tram Line in 2020, the has been commonly operated on all urban lines, symbolizing the revitalization of Toyama City’s central area, with public transportation as the core.
