Originally released as a resin cast kit at the 2003 Summer Wonder Festival, followed by a 1/12 scale plastic model in May 2011, the Asai version of Ray Cast has gained popularity over the years. In August 2015, Masaki Asai designed and created the prototype for a completely new character called “Red Ogre Princess Shiki” for “Phantasy Star Online 2.”
