The Taki 5450 type is a 25-ton freight tanker specifically for liquefied chlorine transportation. By 1994 more than 600 of these tankers had been manufactured. The most recent ones had modified bogies and the stationary brakes changed from side brakes to hand brakes. Nippon Oil Transportation’s Taki 5450 was marked with the company’s logo and name.
